Once we took the decision, we went to realization. It tooks several prototypes to find the final solution.
To look as much as possible like the pocket fixed to the jacket’s sleeve in the video game, the armband is made with one PVC side that is molded and sewed on a zipped armature to be widely open. There is also a zipped pocket on the front. It’s the zip that was the most difficult to realize because we needed to find a solution to sew it respecting the upper curve. After trying on classical machines, we needed to create a specific sewing machine head to realize this rounded sewing for a perfect finish of the armband.
Then pack in the collector box with the strap rolled inside, the effect when opening was perfect.
